Volunteering Sunshine Coast and Queensland Air Museum – Strengthening Connections
Volunteering Sunshine Coast visited Queensland Air Museum (QAM) on October 8, 2025. The visit highlighted the significance of volunteerism on the Sunshine Coast and the vital role it plays in powering community organisations.
QAM relies entirely on its dedicated volunteers to preserve and educate about Australia’s rich aviation history. It was recently honoured with the “Best Volunteer Museum of the Year 2025” award. It serves as a prime example of how volunteers can drive the mission and operations of a beloved community institution.
