We need volunteers just like YOU to join us at Motor Neurone Disease QLD’s iconic Walk to Defeat MND Sunshine Coast on Sunday 12 October at Mooloolaba Rotary Club Park and help make this event a roaring success!

This annual event brings together the community to honour, remember, and support those affected by Motor Neurone Disease. As a valued MND volunteer you will gain hands-on event experience in a fun and meaningful environment and meet incredible people who share a passion for making a difference.
When: Sunday 12th October
What Time: 7.30am to 12.30pm
Where: Mooloolaba Rotary Club Park, 2 Parkyn Parade
What you’ll be doing:
Event Set-Up & Pack-Down Crew – Assist with setting up and packing down marquees, signage, and equipment.
Registration & Check-In Assistants – Welcome participants and ensure a smooth check-in process.
Course Marshals – Guide and cheer on walkers along the route.
Merchandise & Fundraising Helpers – Sell merchandise and collect donations to support MND Queensland.
General Event Support – Lend a hand wherever needed to keep the event running smoothly.
Snow Cone Attendants – Sell and make refreshing snow cones.
Whether you’re lending a hand behind the scenes or bringing energy on the day, your contribution will make an incredible impact to your local community by raising awareness and support for those living with MND.
