Membership Registration

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of Volunteering Sunshine Coast. We offeraccess to a wide range of services designed to support and promote volunteerism in our region. Please complete the form below to register your organisation. Membership fees are based on an organisation’s annual turnover and are as follows:

Before you begin, ensure you have the following ready:

A valid Certificate of Currency for both Volunteer Personal Accident Insurance and Public Liability Insurance (PDF, JPG, or PNG format).
Contact details for your Primary and (optional) Secondary Volunteer Coordinators.
Your organization’s ABN, address, and website (if applicable).

The work health & safety requires organisations to organise both personal accident insurance and public liability insurance, preferably volunteer and not work cover. Copies of both certificates of currency (or complete policies) must accompany this membership application form. Please email to membership@volunteeringsc.org.au or call for more information.
This information is a legal and funding requirement without which your application for membership and subsequent referral of volunteers may not be able to proceed.

Agreement Details

All applications for membership are subject to approval by VSC, and must not conflict with VSC's objectives.
It is the responsibility of the organisation to keep VSC informed about the availability of volunteer positions. Volunteer jobs complement, but do not replace paid positions within the organisation.
The organisation should maintain appropriate personnel records for all volunteers, including any termination documents.
Reimbursement for all reasonable out of pocket expenses (travel, meals etc.) should be negotiated with volunteers in advance.
The organisation agrees to adopt the Code of Practice for Voluntary Organisations as provided to you by VSC.
The organisation agrees to maintain public liability and personal accident insurance for volunteer workers; and agrees to provide proof of such insurances if so requested by VSC.
