• • Volunteer Recruitment Support: Annually, VSC interviews and places approximately 3,000 volunteers into member organisations. We can assist in connecting you with dedicated individuals eager to contribute to your cause.

  • Position Advertising: Promote your volunteer opportunities across multiple platforms, including Seek Volunteering, GoVolunteer, and the VSC website.

  • Dedicated Account Management: Receive personalised support from our Membership Managers, who are committed to understanding and addressing your organisation’s unique needs.

  • Event and Project Assistance: Benefit from our expertise in managing special projects and events, ensuring successful execution and volunteer involvement.

  • Recognition Opportunities: Gain visibility through features like “Member of the Month” and “Volunteer of the Year” on our website and social media. 

  • Access to Volunteer Management Tools: Utilise Viktor, our in-house volunteer management software, to efficiently manage volunteer positions and referrals.

By becoming a VSC member, your organisation agrees to:

• • Maintain up-to-date records of volunteer positions and availability

  • Ensure volunteer roles complement, rather than replace, paid positions

  • Reimburse volunteers for reasonable out-of-pocket expenses

  • Use the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement

  • Provide proof of required insurance coverage

  • Pay membership fee 

All membership applications are subject to approval by VSC and must align with our organisational objectives.

Joining VSC is straightforward. To apply, please complete the Membership Registration Form, providing details about your organisation, including:

• • Organisation name and contact information

  • Type and description of organisation

  • Number and age range of volunteers

  • Centrelink approval status

  • Accessibility for volunteers with disabilities

  • Primary and alternative volunteer coordinator contact details

Please note that organisations are required to have current Public Liability and Volunteer Personal Accident Insurance. Copies of these insurance certificates must accompany your application.
